In 2023, we bought a 1996 Cape Cod style home in Indiana and made the decision renovate the entire thing ourselves. Nearly three years later, the dust still hasn't settled, and we are still very much in the thick of it.
We started Home on Station Hill to document our renovation and as a creative outlet that would grow alongside the house. It has since evolved into a space for the realistic renovator.
While most home blogs show you the finish line. We show you the race. We share the paint colors we got wrong, the design debates, and the projects that stalled for months while life happened. We share the unedited reality of DIY because that’s the version you actually need when you’re standing in the mess of a half-finished hallway. Whether you're here for a tutorial or just some solidarity in the chaos, we’re glad you found us.
